Will new log jaws (TRI-SJA460) fit an old SuperJaws? ===== Triton SuperJaws ===== I bought a [[http://www.tritontools.com/en-AU/Model/SJA200|Triton SuperJaws]] secondhand. Its fantastic for safely holding anything you need to work on. Wish I'd had it years ago. The bloke I bought it off also had the engineering jaws to go with it. Decided it would be great to get some log jaws for safely chainsawing firewood. ==== Log Jaws ==== My SuperJaws are older than the current models and the log jaws for it are part number SJA 130. The only log jaws I could find were part number TRI-SJA460. I wondered if they would fit okay and contacted [[http://www.carbatec.co.nz|Carbatec]]. They were very helpful, thought they should fit, but did not have any in stock and said I could return them for a refund if they did not fit. So I ordered them and got them to check the spacing of the holes for the screws before shipping to me. The spacing was fine and they fitted no problem when they arrived. ---- 2014-10-06
